50 years have brought much joy and also some sadness. During these years, many people have passed through El Molino Restaurant and many of them continue to visit us and are now part of the El Molino family. Our restaurant has grown not only with the village of Can Picafort, but also with many guests who came to us as children with their parents and now come to us with their own children. Our simplicity and authenticity in serving each dish sets us apart from other restaurants, which are few and far between these days. We will never forget our roots, and our customers and friends know that. For 50 years, since 1973 to be precise, we have been serving grilled meat in Can Picafort, our speciality being rabbit. The restaurant has become a local institution and is known nationally and internationally for its grilled meat. From the time Miguel and Maria opened the restaurant in 1973 to the present day, we pride ourselves on serving only the best quality meat. Today, Maria and Miguel’s children, Bernardo and Miguel, follow in their parents’ footsteps and run the business, which has lost none of what El Molino de Can Picafort restaurant was, is and will be.
